EnerConnect Synchronization Configuration
Deploying EnerConnect in a data synchronization configuration provides the ability for a geoscientist or geotech to define, schedule and manage the process of synchronizing technical data between disparate geoscience applications and data stores. One such example might involve a geophysicist interpreting well data in an OpenWorks project who may want to receive updates to tops being picked by a geologist working the same wells in PETRA. Another example might involve defining a job to keep well header information located in an OpenWorks or PETRA project synchronized to a PPDM master data store. These types of processes are perfect situations to be addressed by EnerConnect Synchronization.

EnerConnect Synchronization allows a user to define, schedule and manage a job that will result in an accurate reconciliation and synchronization of geotechnical data based on parameters specified by the user. A synchronization job can be defined based on an area of interest (AOI), a project-based well list or a specific list of well UWIs. The synchronization job can then be executed once or scheduled to recur at a specified time on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Users have access to a detailed report of the individual data records that were added or updated during a synchronization process.
